NEET Exam Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

State Quota Eligibility

Candidates applying under the 85% State Quota must fulfill the respective state’s domicile requirements.

Foreign Nationals

 - Should confirm eligibility with the Medical Council of India (MCI) and respective colleges.

Open School & Private Candidates

Eligibility is subject to NTA and Medical Council of India (MCI) approval. Candidates should verify with the latest official guidelines.

  • Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security PIN.
  • Click Submit and download the PDF file.
  • Print multiple copies for future reference.

 

NEET Exam Dress Code  

Candidates appearing for the NEET exam must adhere to the prescribed dress code to ensure smooth entry into the exam center:

1. Footwear: Only slippers and sandals with low heels are allowed. Shoes, sneakers, and closed-toe footwear are strictly prohibited.

2. Clothing Guidelines:

  • For Male Students: Should wear half-sleeve shirts or t-shirts. Full-sleeve shirts, jackets, or layered clothing are not allowed. Trousers or jeans must not have multiple zips or large pockets.
  • For Female Students: Must wear light, half-sleeve clothing without excessive embroidery, frills, or large buttons. Tight-fitting outfits, leggings, and elaborate dresses should be avoided.

3. Accessories Restrictions: Jewellery, including rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, is not allowed. Watches, caps, and sunglasses are also prohibited.

4. Religious Attire: Candidates wearing specific religious attire can do so but must report early for mandatory security checks before entering the exam hall.
